To fight destruction, create.
Small simple creations are an easy way to connect with others and to stand against the darkness which we see unfolding across America. Haikus are simple to create but these little poems can move hearts and mountains. Since 2015, on every Friday, I have had the honor of reading haikus sent in from around the world. Five syllables, then seven syllables and, finally, five syllables - that's a haiku.
Please join us and send in your haikus. You can find the latest archives here. Thanks! Maeve

Watching old men walk:
Legs fragile and steps halting,
One fall from rehab.

A chimp's in office
flinging sh*t around the world.
We can only duck.

I hate Pete Hegseth
Disgusting god-botherer
knows nothing of god

Running from snow seeking heat
Slow words in the sleet
